Don’t panic, I’m  not going to do a New Year New You – style post today.  I think that’s a bit of a cliche these days. But I do like to use the new year as a chance to to refocus a little and streamline what I’m doing.

So this year I’m going to try to…

Eat a little less

Move a little more

Worry a little less about things that don’t matter

Focus a little more on the things that do

It’s the small daily actions that matter, because they add up over time.

We expect big changes because that’s what our instant gratification culture promises. But they rarely show up when we want them and are usually unsustainable when they do. (Think crash diets and lottery wins.)
