How your self-talk could be putting the brakes on your success

Are the voices in your head telling you that you’re not good enough or there’s never enough time? In this video I talk about how they are holding you back and give one simple tip to get over them.

It’s a short video because it was freezing out there!

  1. This has come at the perfect time for me. I’ve been having a lot of those negative ‘I need more clients’, ‘I have no money’ kind of thoughts and I need to stop. Thank you for the reminder 🙂

    1. Ah, I forgot about ‘I need more clients, I need more clients, I need more clients…’, that’s another old favourite. 🙂 Good luck with it all and thanks for dropping by.

  2. Great video Helen how do you keep it so still and what do you use to edit|???? Must pick your brains. The I dont have enough time is mine too i will beat it off! Thanks for linking at sunday inspiration

    1. Thanks Becky! I use a tripod to keep the camera still, but it’s nothing special, just one we bought for our home stills camera at least 10 years ago now. At the moment I’m doing videos in one take, then trimming off the first and last few seconds on YouTube. Not a very elegant solution, but I’d rather spend my time making videos than spending ages on editing. I may do more editing once I’ve had more practice! A video expert recommended VideoPad to me as a good starting program for video editing, so that’s the one I’ll be using.

  3. BTW I stumbled this because stumble upon is bmy biggest referrer right now and this is perfect …it loves tips …watch your traffic!!

    1. Great news that StumbleUpon is your best referrer, I haven’t spent as much time there as maybe I should because I didn’t great many results there in the early days. I think I’ll give it another go now after reading your tip!
