Kindle Marketing Affiliates
About the Kindle Marketing Affiliate Programme
Kindle Marketing: Growing your Business By Writing a Kindle Book sells for £9 and if you recommend it to a friend/follower who then goes on to buy it, I’ll pay you 50% of the £9 in commission. From time to time I offer discounts, and if someone buys the e-book using your affiliate link, you will still get 50% of whatever the price was at the time of the sale.
I’ll pay your commission, using Paypal, towards the end of the month following the sale. This is to allow for refunds.
Please remember to use your affiliate link when recommending Kindle Marketing as I have no way of tracking the fact you made the sale otherwise. If I can’t track your sale, I can’t pay your commission.

How to promote Kindle Marketing
You can put a banner advert on your website and link it to the Kindle Marketing sales page, but this isn’t very effective. These methods are FAR better:
- Write a review on your blog or in your email newsletter. Here are a couple of useful posts on writing reviews and testimonials: http://www.clicknewz.com/1995/how-to-write-a-product-review/ and http://www.copyblogger.com/testimonials-part-2/
- Write a blog post: Place the affiliate link within an interesting, informative article on the same subject as the product, especially if it includes your opinion of the subject. So (for example) you could write a blog post about how you’ve always wanted to write a book, but until now you’ve been put off by how hard it is to get published. Then talk a little about the Kindle (see article below for ideas!) and mention Kindle Marketing using your affiliate link. Make sure you include the word Kindle in your title and first paragraph to help your post get found by search engines.
- Add the link to your email signature
- Post the article below on your blog and add your affiliate link to the bottom
- Add the link to your posts or signature in forums – please check the terms and conditions of the forum to make sure this is allowed, though.
- Create a ‘recommended resources’ page on your blog - here’s mine as an example http://businessplusbaby.com/resources/
- Tweet it or post the link on your Facebook page/profile. Here are some tweets or Facebook status updates you might like to use…
Here are some banners:
Right click and save them to your computer, then upload to your blog and add your affiliate link.
If you need banners in any other size, please just send me a message and I’ll make up some more.
Here’s an article you can post on your blog/send to your mailing list:
Five reasons why writing a Kindle book is great for your business
Have you ever wanted to write a book and get it published? Well, now is the perfect time to do it! And it’s a lot easier than you think.
Here are five great reasons why you should go ahead and become a Kindle author.
1. People are impressed by authors and it’s great for PR. Nothing says ‘expert’ like having written a book. But until now, getting a book published has meant either pitching to publishers until you find one who wants to publish you, or the hard slog (and financial risk) of self-publishing. With Kindle, you can quickly and easily publish your book for free.
2. It’s a way of getting your place on the shelves of the world’s biggest online store (Amazon) for free. And with Amazon’s ability to recommend products to customers (“customers who bought this book also bought…”) that could give you some useful exposure.
3. The Kindle e-reader is hot at the moment. Amazon knows that it needs to compete with Apple (iPods, iPad, iTunes) and Amazon’s big advantage is the content it already has (books, mp3 downloads, Love Film, e-books, audio books). But it needed to come up with an inexpensive device so that vast numbers of people could access this content. That device is, of course, the Kindle, and Amazon is pushing the Kindle very hard at the moment. The more Kindles that are out there, the more people will be looking for content, so now is the perfect time to get what you know into a Kindle book.
4. People love the Kindle. It’s not just the convenience of fitting your whole library into the palm of your hand, it’s fact that the Kindle screen is the most comfortable to read of any device out there. Then there’s the instant access to any book in the Kindle store and not having to take a pile of paperbacks to the charity shop when you;ve read them and the growing number of books that are only available in Kindle format. I love the way I can finally sit back and read my collection of PDF e-books in comfort, too.
5. You can easily get 70% royalties. Compare that to the 7% or 10% that you get from traditional publishers and you can see why authors are flocking to the Kindle.
