Family Friendly Business For Sale

You might remember Business Plus Baby’s guest blogger Sarah Sharp? She’s the owner of Families Recommend, a UK based online family review site. Sarah’s post on how to run an information website was one of the most popular here  last year and still regularly brings in visitors to BPB.

So I was really sad to hear that Sarah has decided to sell Families Recommend. It was a  tough decision Sarah made for family health reasons.

I agreed to spread the word about Families Recommend being up for sale because I’d like to help Sarah and because I think it could be a great family friendly business for another mum.

Launched in 2009, Families Recommend has quickly become a popular resource for families searching for new activities, places to go or things to do. The website, related domains, social media and related blog are  up for sale as one package. The website  already has a good following, receives good web traffic and is found by the search engines. The new owner would have the opportunity to make it their own and take it any direction they wanted. Sarah has run the website around her family commitments and mostly in her spare time, so any other mum could easily do the same.

(I recommend that before you buy any business opportunity you research it thoroughly so that you’re clear on what is included in the sale and that you’re as sure as you possibly can be that it will be good return on your investment.
