Love this post, it’s exactly the reason I designed and launched my website. Having been a member of several network marketing companies, you are very right that your earnings can be misleading at times. People treat these opportunities as jobs and not business’ with expenses and then get frustrated at the low income they provide. They are good for a bit of extra cash if you have spare time to generate it. If you want a full time income from them it is achievable but for a lot of hard work as with any new business.

Thanks for the positive feedback, Kate. Part of the reason why I wanted to write this is because it’s hard to get a balanced view of direct selling if you’re thinking of giving it a try, so I’m really pleased! You’ve got me thinking about another blog post on direct selling, so watch this space…
